BREEZE ON ME

Dear Underwearlogians.......

It is with great pleasure that I bring today's read but I must confess, even I considered going on "strike" giving the fuel crises I'm having to face (no power).

On that note I want to greet my fellow "Naija"-rians.... e ku fuel scarcity ooo..May God have mercy on us all..amen.

And to my non Nigerians, how are we doing today?

Ok on to today's talk.... (megetttingserious)...

How many of you know what testes are???

The Testes are a part of the male (XY) reproductive organ (yes the baby factory) where the hormone (testosterone) that controls masculinity is produced.

This hormone influence the quality and quantity of sperm cells.

A Sperm Cell

These same "testes" were made in such a way that they need to be " Breezed Upon" or shall I say "Out in the Breeze."

I'm sure you are saying or wondering to yourself she has come again ooo, lol...

Well don't blame the passion and wonder not far, just Read on, thank you.

Experts say about one-half of couples with fertility problems, have low sperm count as the cause (hmmm).

The scrotum keeps the temperature of the testes at about 35-36 degrees Celsius (95-96.8 degrees Fahrenheit), i.e. one to two degrees below the body temperature of 37 degrees Celsius (98.6 degrees Fahrenheit).

High scrotum temperature is damaging to sperm production.

This temperature control is accomplished by the muscles within the scrotum which makes the testicles move either closer to or further away from the abdomen dependent upon the ambient temperature.

The testes (also called balls, #iwonderwhy) can overheat when a man wears tight underwear and clothing , because this constricts the testes, and affect sperm production negatively.

If the testes are too hot -- several degrees above where they should be -- they are not able to produce sufficient sperm, resulting in low sperm count (we def don't want this).

In order for testes to produce sufficient quality and quantity of sperm, the temperature of testes must be lower than the core body temperature.

That is why [testes] are located outside of the body (to be breezed on..hehehe).

Well...not literary as the picture depicts...

Something as simple as changing the kind of pants or underwear or certain things in our lifestyle can make a world of difference.

Here are some tips on how the health of the testes can be optimized;

  • Don't wear tight pants or underwear -- particularly during sports activities.

Too Tighhhhhtttttttt
  • Wear loose clothing, especially if you sit for long periods of time. If you have a desk job, get up and move around regularly.

  • Wear boxer shorts more, as they aid aeration .

  • Sperm do not like high temperatures and it's best to avoid having regular hot baths and saunas.

  • When you're at home, take off your pants (trousers). "It will not only help reduce testes temperature, but it might also turn her on." (wink wink).

  •  If you want healthy sperm, you should keep weight stable, as being overweight can disrupt sex hormone production.

  • To ensure champion swimmers (peak mobility) and avoid DNA damage, skip cigarettes, drugs, steroids, sexual lubricants and limit alcohol intake.

  • Have frequent sexual intercourse (#strictly for the married only, my religious belief influenced...grin) to ensure sperm is not in prolonged storage in the epididymis.

  • Eat antioxidant-rich food such as berries, pumpkin seeds, colourful vegetables and green tea, and consider a multi vitamin supplement with high levels of antioxidants such as Vitamins C and E. Antioxidants protect sperm from free radical damage, which can occur during storage in the testes.

  • Be aware of your medications, as medications for things like cancer, inflammatory bowel disorders, blood pressure medications and immune system suppressants can reduce sperm quality and damage sperm production.

Just for knowing sake:

Just be aware, it takes 10 to 11 weeks for sperm to be produced

"You can't just wear boxer shorts the night before romantic date,it's not magic.

"Anything you do that damages sperm will affect them for the next 10 to 11 weeks."

So my advise to all my XY readers will be....Just Allow the Breeze On....and to you fellow XX....information is power ... enjoy and share this knowledge.

Till next time...Ciao.

Love you all..no bias..
