BROADEN YOUR UNDERWEAR VOCABULARY II

Hello all, I believe we all are doing great and I hope we learnt a thing or two from the Part I of this series.

But before all that.....

I'd like to use this medium to wish my darlings.....Mr Mosopefoluwa Adeniyi (aka Mr Mo') and Mrs Omolara Oyinloye (aka Larrosh) a happy happy birthday....love you both like amala and ewedu.....lool.

This is a continuation of the last post....where we had our underwear horizon broadened and dictionary expanded.

Enjoy yet again as you familiarize yourself with the different names.

French maid

French maid: this evolved in the 19th century France from typical housemaid white and black afternoon uniform, as a strongly modified style of servants dress, now used as a costume or an outfit to role play and depict "sexiness".

Mini Bloomers

Mini Bloomers: are a modification of the knee length Victorian bloomers, and as you can see they are far from prim and proper, as they sit low on the waist and are scandalously short (brief).

Peignoir

Peignoir: a type of womens dressing gown/ negligee worn after swimming or especially in France after a bath.

Bodysuit

Bodysuit: It is typically for sporting activities as a close fitting one-piece stretch garment for women

Bustier

Bustier  (or Bustiere): a form fitting garment for women worn as lingerie primarily to push up the bust whilst tightening the upper mid riff, and shaping the waist.

Girdle

Corset: a form fitting women elastic corset that extends from the waist to the thigh.

Robe

Robe: this is a long loose outer-garment reaching to the ankle, usually worn as a cover up apparel within the house. Worn by both male and female.

Babydoll

Babydoll: is a garment for women consisting of a hip-length top made out of delicate fabric often decorated with ruffles, ribbons, or lace, with a matching panty, worn for sleeping.

Nightie

Nightie: also called nightdress or night gown. It is for a female adult or child and worn to bed.

Slip

A Slip is a woman's under-garment worn beneath a dress or skirt to help it hang smoothly and to prevent chaffing of skin from coarse fabrics such as wool. It is also worn for warmth and to protect fine clothing from bodily sweat.

Unitard

Unitard: also called body suit, cat suit or leotard. It is a tight fitting garment made of stretchy material worn ballet dancers and acrobats for practice or performance. It is worn as a single piece and covers the body from top to bottom.

Stringybody

Stringybody: stretchable form fitting work out clothing or sportswear made out of Lycra or spandex, a lightweight synthetic fiber.

Spankies: these are tight fitting full panties worn by cheerleaders, as a part of a uniform.
